It takes quite a while to fully get used to the DSG / S-tronic boxes ... there's so many choices / combos it's just finding the best ones that work for you and your driving style !

I've had DSG Golfs for the last 5 years and would'nt go back to a manual now ... the only time I prefer a manual is when stopping downhill in the Snow / on ice !

I picked it up very quickly in mr r32 dsg, I can't believe it's 6 years since I got it

I never use sport, I do use a mix of padels and the lever (rally style) depending on what I am doing and auto for traffic

So the 62 plate RS3 is different to the 62 plate A3. This means the RS3 is still being produced but is essentially out of date.

Or could it be the A3 I saw the other day was just a dealer model out for a spin and all the A3 range is still the same? I am confused.

Looks smashing in red I must say.

In sport does it not change the exhaust note though or can you sort this out through the MMI screen?

MMI? RNSE.

Exhaust is enabled via Sport button on centre console.
