Hi.

Some Audis can do this - but the car would need to have the folding mirror option AND be an Audi with MMI dashboard equipment. This narrows it down to A6 C6, A4 and A5 B8, Q7s, Q5, A6 C7, A7, some later model A8 D3s and new model A8 D4.

Sadly the RS3 doesn't have this and I'm not sure it can be retro - hacked to do it… CraigyB might know a way?

When I had Hazydayz retro fit cruise to my RS3 I asked them to try and code the mirrors to fold when the car is locked. No such luck as apparently its not available on the A3.

Only tweak they could find was to make the car emit a small beep when you lock it which is surprisingly useful when walking away from the car....

i don't like it, freaks me the fook out every time you get in and they fold back, i catch it out the corner of my eye and thinks someone's trying to car jack me ...

You're correct, although It's only £125 if you don't want the auto dimming feature.

So I have the £125 elec folding mirror option but no way off operating from the key fob.
Liked it on the cupra ideal as you walk away knowing its locked.

Hi Mate,

Yes the windows work from fob once you have ticked the option in the screen menu.

Its grips unlike the cupra but a stg2+ 2.0TFSI is very aggresive and fun. Guess cannot compared mapped to std.
I'm still taking my time (900mls) but the speed at which you can pull off is great. You are going faster than it feels also. Would like to get the 2.5 mapped!
I'd say to you fully check you are happy with build quality tho Mate as I've been having some major issues!
The cupra is real value for money. Little bits of the A3 are dissapointing.

The issues with the RS have spoilt it somewhat...
