I have been waiting 15 months for my RS3, and I am just curious how much deposit you all paid?

And how much money Audi has made from our deposits in interest over the last year or more???

Ok rates are poor but that depends how much you invest ??

As I paid £1k deposit and a large PX, January 2011, I got back a few £K due to long wait but they have still had £ks of my money in their account for over a year and I am thinking of asking for interest back when I finally get the RS3 ??!!

Only a grand, remainder on delivery.

£500

£1k balance on delivery.

£1,500 rest on delivery

£1k remainder on delivery

I don't think you will succeed at getting interest back if these sums of money are shown on your order as a lodged deposit. 15 months however is a mahoosive length of time to wait!

Another point is that Audi themselves don't get your deposit - the dealer does. Audi won't have any money until the car is delivered and the dealer pays for it's consignment note.

£12 k but, but after 11 months cancelled my order and bought a used one elsewhere.

I will pressure dealer for free gap insurance!
As what they would have made on my money should cover cost of it !!??

I doubt it....

I got free gap insurance with mine but that was instead of any discount.

My deposit was£1500 but as said above that was just to my dealer they don't pass that on.

lovely cars, just watch the tryes in the cold, even evo reported the stock tyres cant handle the power on cold roads

if stupid bmw had made a 5 door version i would have been very tempted, oh that and the fact that keyless bmws are now being stolen daily with these reprogramming kits on ebay
