Collected the RS3 yesterday, a big thanks to Andrew and the team at Carlisle Audi. Currently at Miglior Detailing having the car detailed. Will post up some pics later or tomorrow when I get home. Wow what can I say the car is fantastic a real pussycat on the M6 and lots of thumbs up from people.
Catch you all later

Hi Ian..yes tis me. Have been posting about about the RS3 but there are Two muppets on there that keep trashing the posts..a right couple of knowalls...

Not the same forum it used to be...
Wow what a journey home last night from Accrington, starting snowing, then no V-power at Darwen serives on the M65, so had enough to get to Charnock Ricahrd Services on the M6, filled her up, 45 litres, so was able to use my points token from the Shell V-power club.
Then a few miles down the M6....M6 closed at junction 21-20....pants!!! don't know the aera well enough for a detour, anyway 1hours 3 minutes later passed the accident, lorry all burnt out on the hard shoulder just after the Thelwall viaduct, completly destroyed...tinned produce everywhere, hope the driver got out okay. Then found the A449 from the A5 down to the M54 closed...arraggghhh..so a blast up the A5 to Telford, home just after 11pm...knackered.
The car......well what a machine althoug does't like being sat in traffic as she burnst the fuel...

Although I did switch off several times as we were not going anywhere.
But once we passed the site, she flew down the M6, legal speeds too

Lots of thumbs up and waves etc

The headlights are bloody amazing on full beam, you can spot a badger 20 miles away...
So yes impressed, still can't believe I actually own one. Thanks Funkygibbo for the tip off and Andrew at Carlisle Audi.
So some pics yes?

Sounds amazing
Fuel consumption will be bad whilst the engine is tight, mine uses £12 a week less fuel than the R32 and that's including the added expense of v power, and it's doing 0-60 in 4.1 against 6.7 lmfao

None that I've noticed, but I do have question.
On the engine bay slam panel I have noticed that the shiney black plastic piece sits underneath the dull plastic piece closest to the engine bay behind the locking mechanism, is this the same on other owners cars, it looks like it should be the other way round?

I wasn't sure myself so I went trawling the net for pics. the others look the same to me.
