Audi are investigating the intermittent fault to my gearbox
They want my car in for a modifications inspection, incl ecu replacement
As if I would mod it after my last cars engine blew up
They need to sort these terrible brakes they have put in my car rather than messing me about ...

Apparently the ecu has an encrypted serial that flags a red code when plugged into the dealers vag unit, if it's missing (ie been flashed)
They said the tech guy coming down can tell if the ecu or the chip has been changed
I can't verify any of this but they do want to check it
Mines stock so I am not bothered, it is a hassle thou
It's not been inspected yet

yre car is stock so why would it red flag !!
if they built RS3''s with more pride like other RS's then we all wouldn't have all this kak !!

Audi's customer service for me has always been beyond excellent.
It makes changing brand very very hard
