Revolution RS3 back in the road...

Well it's been a long month, but finally a gearbox arrived for the 3.
And after a few days of testing I'm collecting it later today.!!

Seems a small O ring had failed and only comes with the box. Boxes were on back order as they never fail hence the delay.

While its in I've also had the brake recall done - new callipers, discs & pads and a fuel pump reset.

So fingers crossed I shall be out if a tdi A4 (which is poop on mpg than I expected btw)
And back on my RS3 at last.
Only thing I've noticed, the A4 is defo bigger inside and hope the 3 doesn't feel too small when I get in it as I've got shed loads of things planned for it.
Mmmm, B8 RS4 might need another test drive and already discussing build times with salesman while popping in for updates...oops...

Also getting an extended test drive of their RS6 as a thank you for my patience..,.

Must say that Newcastle Audi (scotswood road) have been fantastic throughout and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

That's saying a lot from someone else in the trade.
So well done to them and Audi uk for sorting out my car and getting me back on the road.

Glenn
