End of story really
Looking at that video the real losers will be 1M drivers as the M135i appears to do as well as it's bigger brother!

I'm a little biased of course, but the thing he forgot to mention at all… is that the sub £30k price is for the manual. Which doesn't have the performance he showed in the review. And the £40k for the RS3 includes heated seats, Nav.

I'm also a little disappointed in his review of the interior quality.

I've a customer who's already got his M135i 5 door, and having sat in it the quality of the dash plastics (and in particular the fixed static screen in the dash) is pretty shocking - it's not in the same league as the (old model) A3.

Luckily we've got customers who actually WANT the RS models to give the luxury feel of a car you'll drive every day, have sledgehammer performance - and probably never ever take on track!

Im with the majority here but also side with Amar, let me explain my apparent contradiction:

I do agree with the "Clarksonitis", and how he overdrove the Audi, that was blatent to me. He drove it deliberatly aggressively provarocating the understeer. He could have done that with the BMW if he wanted to, they also understeer if you throttle them mid corner and yank on a load of mid corner lock! What he should have done is adjusted his technique to suit the Audi's characteristics, ie. get the car on its nose on turn in to a corner to neutralise the balance. Adaptability. Hence a very biased review in favour of the BMW.

However also agree with Amar, in that I own both an Audi and a BMW. BMW's do feel bloody good to drive. Wonderful steering even on something as inert as a 7 series msport !
Quattro in all seasons for Ass Kickin reasons.

Here's a link showing the car being driven in a much more sympathetic way: http://youtu.be/qdaMUw8XCyw

Shame I don't speak Spanish, but the car is faster than a Camaro round the track, which seems like a good thing?
