This makes me feel sick, especially since I'm just having my buckets refurbed and will be getting the steering wheel done as well!

Hope all this is sorted and behind you soon mate.

The case for me fitting window film is getting stronger…

Even if it did the Audi alarm siren is so quiet nobody would hear it...

P.S. Hope the scumbags that did this rot in hell.

The alarms on my S4, by B6 A4 and S4s and my B7 RS4 have all been so quiet it's almost a mis-description to call it an alarm (my phone beeps louder when I get a text message!).

Isn't window film just tinting? If they know what car you have the tinting isn't really going to stop them I'm guessing.

There have been way too many posts of this nature on this forum recently. It's really quite upsetting that the world is like this. To have what we have the vast majority of people have worked really hard for.

WHS ^^^^
This isn't tinting stuff - the proper laminated security film can work wonders.

Yep there's a difference between security film and tint film. Gonna get a big roll of the stuff and do the downstairs windows and the RS4s...

Car off to Audi now, insurance assessors will look at it in the morning.

Just from my review post the police leaving here is what I reckon will need doing - lots of small damage to loads of the trim that will have to be replaced, new RNS screen, new armrest, new rear heated seat controls, new seats (of course), new steering wheel (could take ages as special order), new drivers wing mirror (was electrically fold-able, they busted it), new interior light console, new drivers trim, fix bolt dent on back passenger door, new windscreen wiper stalk, and finally new side windows with rear tinted (security film called for this time). Probably more than this but it will be interesting to see the full estimate.

Cheers for the support guys - Will keep y'all informed. This kind of <beep> makes me question the sanity of owning a decent car. Why bust your balls working for some f*cker to do this....

I take it that wasn't on your drive as that's not a two minute job to get them out
Hope they get caught and your insurance makes everything good

I sometimes question having a 43k car when I hear things like this.

Will this make your car Cat D?
