Re: 2015 RS3
It could actually be left over from the TT-RS... they were around that price too, right?

Got a October 2013 TT-RS Brochure and the 6 Speed Manual Couple was £46300 so if there wasn't a Price increase from then you could be rightMartayMcFly wrote:It could actually be left over from the TT-RS... they were around that price too, right?

Audi City in London had an internal event, apparently the body design team attended. Southend Audi sent me the following pictures.

Nope, unfortunately not, at least they're not completely "flat" and looking down the side profile of the car they appear to be flush with the fronts.

Re: 2015 RS3 - now with confirmed pictures
Extremely disappointing that once again Audi haven't bothered to put bigger rear arches on the RS3
That last image clearly shows the sill below the door running backwards from the extended front wheel arch.......... until it gets two thirds of the way along the car and then has to kink back in to meet the regular rear arch

BIggest turn-off aside from the lack of wide rear arches, those butt ugly roof rails. Why in god's name...

Optional thankfully! Agree though - I think they look odd on any variant of the previous or current '3

I take it there were no critical attendees at the event asking questions like "Why didn't you bother flaring the rear arches, or putting a shoulder on them like the RS4?", "Why is the grill split in two even if you don't spec the completely awful 'quattro' insignia?", "Do you even bother anymore of is Audi so successful and established that you're happy disappointing 95% of your prospective customer base?" and maybe "Have you ever seen an RS before? Do you know they're not meant to just look like the S with a honeycomb grill?".
I would have spent the night asking those questions. Maybe just punching people in the face too.

Those wheels are <beep> ! A bit of dish would of been nice.
It's a shame the arches aren't pumped up but tbh for me, with it parked on very public driveway, I'm quite happy with the non pimped look.
Hate to think what the ceramic brakes and carbon seats are gonna cost though
