** 62 TED

Hi all,

Saw a chap in this car en route to work this morning. I was keeping a look out for him after he was up my backside a bit and then took a turning off shortly afterwards so wanted to see if his route or my route was quicker.

Anyway, on the main road I see him arrive at the top of the T junction two cars in front of me. Coming the other way, towards me on the main road, is a Police car that fires a quick shot of his sirens, stops, does a two-point turn shortly after the RS3 has turned out onto the main road and then proceeds to pull him over a little further down the road!

My question is... could this car have been stolen? As the Police car and the RS3 were at a right angle when they spotted him, surely their ANPR gadgetry would not have picked up any info on the car. I wondered if it was (very) recently reported stolen and the Police car was in the right place at the right time.

Would love to know!

More likely the police just wanted to pull him over for driving a nice car!

I've had it for years, had police do a U turn and chase after me at silly speeds to do a "routine check", the joys of owning a nice motor and having a baby face :assflash:

Yes that thought had crossed my mind too. Especially with the RS3 being a rare sight. Having said that, I've seen about five different examples over the past couple of weeks. Must be thanks to the extra allocation!

535dboy, why are Audi not able to give you a date on your RS4?
