Brussels, Nov 5 (IANS/EFE) Ajax Amsterdam forward Ryan Babel's house was robbed while he was playing a match this weekend, the player said in a Twitter posting Sunday.

The thieves robbed the house Saturday, taking an Audi RS3 belonging to the player, who asked for help in getting his vehicle back.

Babel is offering a reward of 10,000 euros ($12,819) to anyone who helps find the vehicle.

"It happened during our match, the thieves knew nobody was home," Babel said.

The forward did not have a good night, with his team losing to Vitesse 2-0 while his house was being robbed.

Makes a change to see a footballer who doesn't follow the norm.

Car was seen the day after, near the AJAX stadium! Talk about a bold move.

And maybe it's not his only car.....

The car has been retrieved by the Police. They don't get the 10K though... Things have turned right for Babel, especially after the draw against Manchester City last night :biggrin3:

The newspaper stated:
The keys of his Bentley and Mercedes ML500 Brabus where also taken from his home, but since these cars where in the garage they weren't taken
:biggrin3:

If that's a copy and paste from a news site they need to sort out their grammar. :assflash:

If French is the language of love, Dutch is a drunken booty call text message.
No matter where you go, there you are.
