Of greater concern here Phil is that you were reading the Daily Star. :ban:

Yawn....I take it they didn't like it....I'd have it over any Dagenham Dustbin... :biggrin3:

In fact I placed a deposit on a Frozen White MK2 RS Focus, on viewing it, I was so disappointed with its build quality I cancelled it, now that's unsual for me as all my early car were always Ford RS's models. :bigblink: But this was really poor, lots of sealing mastik not finished and that crappy light switch on the dash had me walking. Eeven the Sat Nav unit looked like it had come out of ELC... :smile_smoking:

Had the use of 3 Audis now and they have all been superb..will let you know about the RS3 later... :nogarors4:

What kind of roads do you have over there???

I'm sure they're no worse than ours.

I've put 7500 miles on mine and haven't had an issue with comfort and I have buckets seats!

I've seen a couple of reviews where the said they would prefer the suspension set up to be a bit stiffer.

I would have to agree with the Daily STAR review - the ride over country roads is very firm and too jiggly plus you do get a lot of road noise from the tyres. I think they have made the ride too firm.
In terms of performance, the figures Audi publish are clearly underestimates so as not to offend more expensive Audi owners. This car is very very fast.

he must have a whole in his tank or live on the ring, mine DID ... 16mpg when hooning, 28 normal, infact it was using £12 a week less than the R32 even thou it got V power and the R32 got cheapo crap

it is a stiff car, its right on the limit of what i would accept but when you push on hard the car goes level like a rally car, hes not driving it fast enough :)

Second that - drive it like a loon and you are looking at mid-teens but just did 300miles from full and returned 31mpg - mostly 80mph cruise though....

Hi guys , I've owned my rs3 about two weeks and it is a complete joy to drive, IMO the people who write this cack just copy and paste the review from the magazine who previewed it before them, they say the car is dull compared to the 1m but i believe what they really mean is the 1m is hard for them to control and the audi is just bang on perfect I love chucking this nutty car around and it loves being chucked reminds me abit of mariokart lol, belive me these reviewers must all have had a dud demo car as theres nothing my rs3 cant do compared to any m3 ive owned and personally i dont feel the 1 m as a comparison anyway as I feel there 2 very different cars imo,I do agree it's a very firm car and you feel the bumps but for the power it provides it needs it, I have owned m3's ,x6 ,golf vr6 mk3 , range rover etc so I am used to driving 'good' cars as the reviewers put it and I must say I feel my rs3 is an upgrade to my e93 m3 it is also as drivable comfy etc apart from a little less soft as a drive but there's alot more padding in the m3 but you'd expect it for £20k extra price tag and it's half the price to run. the rs3 is a great car fast as you like , limited edition , practical and subtle ,this is my very first Audi and I must say after 5+ years of m3's and BMW , Audi have won me over.its early days but up to now it's great fun and find myself making up reasons to go out and drive it. I just hope the time flys for you guys that are still waiting for delivery itS well worth the wait
Chin up lol
Coming soon the new Audi RS3.... see it attached to your rear bumper on the Motorway no matter how fast you go!
