RS5 optional exhaust

Due to having a milltek fitted to my rs5 soon my optional sports exhaust may be for sale. It is the full optional exhaust but with both the resonators and centre box removed professionally by
MRC Tuning. It is quite a bit louder than standard with a few nice pops on overrun and blip on way up gears! I haven't thought about price or anything just seeing what interest as car is not booked in till middle of august.
Cheers Dan

Just a quick question - I have the sports exhaust on mine at the moment and was considering having a couple of the boxes cut out and straight piped as you've done. How come you're going for a Milltek instead? Did you not get the sound you were after or are there other reasons? Did you have any issues once the boxes were removed - are there any sensors in that area that require remapping?

Personally for me it became quite raspy up in the higher revs and wasn't the sound I'm after. Although the start up is awesome when warm

Hopefully the milltek will give a nice deep bellow on full tap. Regarding any issues after removing boxes, there is none that I'm aware of. I received my car back and it feels on top form no sluggishness or faults. The only suggestion I have is maybe to get another sports exhaust and chop that about so you can always return to standard if for any reason. Mine will be off car soon
Cheers Dan

Hi Dan,
OK, cool - thanks for the comments. Let me know how much you want for it once you've got it off and had a think.
Cheers

Hi James
The milltek is now on and the other exhaust is off down at
MRC Tuning.
I have had a think about price and I would be happy to get £400ish for it as it does come as a whole system, down pipes, middle section and backboxes with valves still attached. I spoke to mrc about prices and they said the valves are the the expensive part but didn't give me a exact valuation. I have an video I can send to an email address if you wish to hear it?
