Agree re being reasonable, and aiming to negotiate.
Of course you have the right to a repair to original standard and a decent replacement car while yours is being fixed.
Beyond that you might think about...and be honest with yourself here, since over-the-top demands won't get you far with an insurer... whether the (properly) repaired car has a lower market value than the pre-accident car. In cases of structural damage, CAT C/D recorded damage etc, it's reasonable to argue that you have not really been put back into the same financial position as before the incident - the next buyer will see that the car is not 100% and will want to pay less accordingly. But for cosmetic stuff properly repaired it's debatable whether you're actually any worse off.
If you are truly out of pocket, I believe that insurers call that "diminution of value", and it's possible to negotiate around that. If you're not really out of pocket (as is likely for proper cosmetic repair) you are relying on dealer goodwill - hope you get some. Imagine they'll be pretty OK about it since clearly their massive error. So you might get free servicing or that R8 loaner or some such.

I am anal about repairs, I have had panels repainted 3 times and then sold the car because I could not bear to look at the dodgy paintwork on it, they just couldn't get it too match

My R32 had a few marks on the paintwork, rather wear and tear than bad paint work

Well nothing like a bit of suspense. Sorry for the delay in getting back on here.

Many thanks for the messages. For the one or two comments complaining I was being unfair to the dealer, I would like to state that I never named the dealership, did not say it was their fault and did explain it was a third party delivery driver and not the Audi dealership that caused the damage.

If was really just stating my horror and shock.

Short story is that it was repaired perfectly, professionally and courteously by the dealership.

Absolutely checked out and brand new. New front and wing. It looks stunning.

Thanks again for the posts and sorry for the drama but it wasn't a nice experience, although the dealer handled it as best as they could in the circumstances.

They gave me a Q7 sline as a courtesy car for the 10 days they had my RS5. We loved it so much we bought a fantastic new one as our family car - replacing our Range Rover Sport. But from my usual dealer and not this place.

Roll on the RS5 Cabriolet - looks good.
