Audi RS5 Pics

Post by Crash Master » Thu Jan 19, 2012 4:46 pm

Finally got round to washing and taking some pics of my new RS5, what do you think?

Should I slightly tint the front windows to blend in the dark glass or keep the contrast, conflicting views so far.

Nice. As mentioned in another thread earlier, when clean, you cannot beat a black car! Oh and keep it OE.

Looks fantastic. I would keep the glass as it is.

I know that's awesome, you can only tell they bulge at certain angles as it's a subtle buldge... :assflash:

Few more pics to show the black I had painted on the grille and the windows.

Rusty looking discs each time I wash it, presume that's normal if not a little annoying!

What do people think about changing the silver spacers for black anodised ones?

Yes wheel spacers, not sure if black behind the wheels will add to the stealt look, or just look silly.

Rusty discs are normal after a wash just test brakes for a few yards before taking pics.

Trouble is with painting the front end of any car is the bloody stone chips. What process did you use to
Paint the front grill?

What spacers do you have?

Very technical process, I took it to Audi...not a clue from there

They are the standard spacers.

Looks good, looks like the proper black optic grill, does not look painted.

Sadly this appears to be a very slow forum, too busy driving and working I hope.
But as you ask, non uniform tint looks awful, to me. If it's a trend there could you explain, seriously, not being funny, I'm a brit too. Is that 20% or even less btw? In California it is not legal to tint the front side windows, but in reality it is not enforced unless extreme (5%). I have 50% all around and 30% is more popular.

edit: so sorry, epic car! i'm trolling 'cos we get the 2013 RS5 here and I have one on order :beerchug:

and the US version is 500hp!

j/k :)
wtf, everything is exaggerated here
