Enabling ADS 'Individual Mode' on a Non Nav B8 S4 with ADS

Hi

I've read so many forums and threads that I've gone bleedin cock eyed but i still can't find a definative answer to the question(s) that i have, and i humbly ask if you folks can help.

My car does have dynamic steering, damper control and sports diff with ADS.

But

My car does not hav nav/mmi just the (very pseudo mmi style) B&O symphony control. So as such I have the standard 3 option buttons: comfort, auto & dynamic situated below the shifter

The problem is that I'd love to have the 'individual' functionality so I can mix and match.

i have no experience of using Vag Com but use an awesome specialist who does all this stuff for me (usually for free). They have asked me to get the answers & they'll do the rest

So I guess my questions are:

1) Can my specialist use Vag Com to enable a true 'individual' setting in either the 'car' or 'setup' menus on my display (very desirable)

If Not

2) Can they set an 'individual' setting that is a default that only they can change (not so desirable)

Or

3) None of this is at all possible (worst case)

Any help on this matter really would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

FON.

Did you spec the car? I bet you're regretting not ticking the box labelled "MMI, yes please!"
Have you tried contacting MRC with your issue? They might even put your car on the rollers for a free dyno session, I believe they're after some baselines. Chuck some Tesco99 in your S4 and get down there, talk to Doug. BTW how's the sport diff, it transforms the car, so I hear?

It's a Nav thing : no Nav = no Individual.

So glad I have it as my car is coded to default to Individual mode. Then if I used my key I get my settings and the Mrs (with her key) gets what she likes.

Iant - As per the answer to the same post on Audizine - there doesn't appear to be a way of selecting Individual.

Nah I bought it second hand (nearly got a brand new one on contract hire but couldn't strike the right deal). Believe it or not this one was just about the only one that i could find with ADS and the all important trick diff (which is awesome) you really can feel it pushing you around the twisty bits (esp in dynamic mode) feel a bit like a beemer in the handling stakes

Many thanks for the advice I'll try MRC. Teco or Shell Supers can never make my mind up. The rest are rubbish

MRC were giving free dyno runs to B8 S4s running Tesco99, the offer might still stand, worth asking.
