Audi Drive Select - Does it mean I have sports diff??

Just bought a 59 plate S4, after previously owning B7 RS4 (with a disastrous spell in between in a Merc ML420.... I'm just not a 4x4 person!!). New car has the audi drive select which I thought it meant automatically had the sports diff. Reading a couple of posts it seams I'm wrong to assume!?!

P.S I'm very happy with the car even though baby & dog have less room!!!

It's a seperate cost option and from what i can gather most people who spec the drive select also go for the sports diff - but that is not always the case.

On MMI in CAR, the option AUDI DRIVE SELECT will show whether you have the QSD as far as I am aware. If it lets you configure the diff characteristics as part of the setup for the Individual option, then I guess it's on the car. Mine has all the options (including dynamic steering and QSD) and both are separately configurable for the Individual button.
