Clutch temp warning - torque limited

Hey guys jumping in the middle of the Mechatronic issue. Any clue as to costs? I've been told everything to gearbox oil change to £4.5k gearbox overhaul. I guess I'm hoping to get a result with something in the middle!! I'm in West Sussex and advice or contacts would be valuable. Thanks in advance...

Cost for mechatronic should be around £1500. I'd imagine the cost for entire DSG gearbox would be closer to £4500.

I got quoted £2400 just for the mechatronic unit.

Audi quote closer to 9k for new box. New mechetronic unit is £900 from Audi. Factor in time and he fact that the gear needs draining prob looking about £1200-£1500 depending where you take it.

Somebody off the audisport website who works for Audi. The £900 will just be for the transmission control unit.

Do you know what their labour rate is? Taking into account the £300 for the gearbox service, they want 8-10 hours labour onto of that for the mech change?

It does not take that long.
