Brake Pads

My brake pad warning light has just come on for the first time since new.

Wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how much pad replacement is likely to cost, and whether this is something that needs to be done at a main dealer, or whether it can be done by an independent or kwikfit type place?

I got mine changed by the VW/Audi specialist that I use but any garage can do it. The pads cost £65 and labour was £40.

A monkey with a machine gun can do it (I.e a main dealer). So anyone can do it.

Don't get bent over at a dealer FFS !!

Does anyone know who makes the OEM brake pads for the S4?

Also, anyone tried/tested Bosch brake pads - opinions/thoughts please.
