Tax bands

Is it possible to get a b8 s4 in manual in the cheaper tax band? The audi used car search has a 2009 manual at 225 c02 but a 2010 car is 234 c02, is this correct?

Audi webpage often wrong. From my research you cannot get a manual under 225, only auto...newer auto is even lower

From memory the saloon is just inside the low tax bracket for pre fl saloon.

ok cheers for that. Shame that's the case for the manual. prob be an extra £200 a year for road tax on top of a auto s4.

£250 per year 2012 s-tronic which is a bit better than my B7 S4!

I must admit after owning a couple of evos and paying 400 plus i was quite surprised how cheap the s4 is!

A manual avant is higher band than a manual saloon I think

Im paying £270 for 2010 s-tronic,this info is taken out of Audi brochure valid from oct 2010 saloon manual 234,saloon s-tronic 219,avant manual 239,avant s-tronic 239.Derbz wrote:Not got a clue mate!
