Re: Nick's widebody S4
Why is that steering wheel round?
Re: Nick's widebody S4
Makes going around corners easier!

Re: Nick's widebody S4
Is that a straight fit...? no mods involved
Re: Nick's widebody S4
What steering wheel have you got in there at the moment?
Re: Nick's widebody S4
Car looked stunning at SRR last weekend Nick! Sorry about making you spend more money on the steering wheel
Looks in fantastic condition that one, as-new. Far better than mine! Nice one.

For road cars steering wheels should be round, end of.MikeFish wrote:Why is that steering wheel round?

Yep, 20 minute job. Makes a stark difference when compared with the stock S4 wheel. I should clarify though that RS5s are automatic only so all of the RS5 steering wheels will have paddles fitted.pmj wrote:Is that a straight fit...? no mods involved
Re: Nick's widebody S4
Sorry, but round steering wheels look just rubbish once you've got used to the flat bottom wheels.jaygemson wrote:For road cars steering wheels should be round, end of.MikeFish wrote:Why is that steering wheel round?
The flat bottom ones make the Audi interior stand out from the dull interiors like BMWs.
Re: Nick's widebody S4
Standard S4 one - similar to the RS5 one, but thinner and with smooth leather, not perforated.MikeFish wrote:What steering wheel have you got in there at the moment?
I'd agree that flat bottom ones *look* nice, but for the day-to-day practicalities of driving & parking, a round one works better for me.MikeFish wrote:Sorry, but round steering wheels look just rubbish once you've got used to the flat bottom wheels.
