See I'm the opposite. Getting high speeds doesn't excite me as much as brutal acceleration.

He also has another car with more brutal acceleration than the S4, hence he ain't fussed about that bit!

There is no issue with LC and damaging your car.

There was with early DSG's but the S-tronic has no issue with them.

Looking forward to it in the RS 5

I averaged 11mpg today. Though that was thru bastard London traffic.

I'm not even doing 500 miles/month and some of that is thru s*** London traffic. What a waste!

Not particularly tbh. And sometimes the misses turns it off so the baby doesn't wake up!

I have a nice drive to stanmore later. I'm gonna give it some on that trip, will report back with whatever abysmal numbers I pull out. At least I'll be doing it with a smile on my face!

Managed to get 18.7mpg. Mostly dual carriageways with quite a few traffic lights (A41). Not bad, I was pleasantly surprised.
