Exactly!!!! 7 months. If they told me that in the first place I wouldn't have even bothered.

Long delivery times were not an issue until we all started going on about how good the car is, we've only got ourselves to blame!

I never wait for a car. I phone all the dealers and see what they have coming through. I hate waiting for a car, especially 7 months.

If I could cancel now I would. They still going on about the Rotor wheels being short and all black edition are experiencing same delays.

Hopefully picking it up on Tuesday.

So what's the consensus on running in new cars? Driver it like I stole it or Missy daisy for the first 1000

Mixed. I personally give them a bit of stick after about 200 miles.

I asked this question about running in recently, response was mixed. Dealer said no need as they are run in on the bench however I wouldn't like to rely on that in a warranty issue. So am being a bit mixed mainly taking care for a thousand miles but also giving it a reasonable foot down but not mental yet. Funny thing is though just going from efficient to dynamic makes me feel like it is enough fun anyway without putting my foot down

Finally picked up on tuesday evening. Warmed her up and gave it some meaningful acceleration and deceleration for the first 30 miles then drove it normally.

I second what you say about change through the settings. Like driving a different car

Tried it yesterday and you wasn't wrong. I'm permanently in dynamic now as I can't go back to comfort let alone efficiency

I have mine in individual mode with the dampers in comfort, diff in dynamic and gearbox in dynamic which seems ideal for most roads.
