STaSIS Exhaust

Post by robokn » Wed Dec 10, 2014 10:45 am

Well having wanted to keep the original exhaust I went for the STaSIS exhaust on sale @ REVO for a bargain £850, quality is unreal and the noise
a little subdued till the loud pedal is pressed then it comes alive not too much but enough to know its not an OEM one. Having been nicked before
with a NON res exhaust, he heard me coming apparently at 90 odd Mph on a very empty M1, so not too concerned about the lack of bark. Pics to follow

Can you explain what the Police said to you and why they nicked you. As I don't want to fall fowl of the same.

I was warned loads when I had my noisy exhaust. It is illegal to modify the exhaust in any way which makes it louder than stadard so pretty much all aftermarket performance exhaust are illegal. Never got done for it but kept getting pulled over for all sorts of reasons.
