Air and pollen filter replacement

Recommendation sought on replacement of the air filter and the pollen filters? When are these typically replaced - mileage wise?

Air filter, 57k. yes really!! Pollen filter, 19k or two years. So they think the pollen filter is three times more importnant!!!
I changed my own pollen filter on my last A4 b8, bought from a motor factors about £14 for a carbon version, Audi one £29.
5 minute job in passenger foot well.
