WHEEL BEARING PETITION
Posted: Mon Sep 03, 2012 4:03 pm
Hey Guys,
As per Graeme's thread regarding wheel bearings, I would like to start an owners petition with your fellow support to send to Martin Sander to sort a permanent fix from Audi for what is becoming an ever more prevalent if not cronic defect with our cars. Not only are defective wheel bearings a safety issue, this unnacceptable of a top line product from a brand of Audi's calibre. I could go on....you get the angle from which i want to come at it.
With quite a few of us experiencing wheel bearing problems and Audi Acknowledging a "botch fix" by way of TPI, I believe we have a good chance to resolve this. I would kindly request that those who have had problems with wheel bearings kindly send me an email to audirs6bearingissue@gmail.com providing the following on an attached word document:
1. Your name.
2. Your chassis number
3. Your electronic signature/ stamp.
My sole objective is to get a redesign on the bearings to stop this expensive, time consuming problem for us all. This may seem like a long shot but if you don't try you'll never know, and bear in mind we are near the top end of Audi's customer base.
I will view the inbox every few days, when there is enough evidence to warrant firing off an email i will do so giving you all a preview.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Sincerely,
Adam.
