LOBA / AP Racing RS6 C6 390mm disc set-up

Billet Cnc bells and bobbin system
The assembly uses " Float in the Bell" Technology, proven and fully tested

AP Racing 390mm x 34mm drilled disc
handed 72 vane axial vented (oem are not)
21mm Air GAP for cool running
swept area 54mm
Bolt On Replacement no other modifications to carry out (PLUG&PLAY)
massive weight saving, design is sub 10kg each compared to OEM 16.5kg each !

OEM pad wont work, but lots of performance pads available from ferodo,pagid,brembo,performace friction

Sorry not up on site as yet its 1800 euro for a pair inc vat ... all parts can be bought separate too so cost of replacements will be cost effective long term also

ill update with pics as i get them


heres a idea of what there look like on my rs4 (b7 setup 362mm) rs6 c6 are much bigger in terms of bell and rotor

Update

LOBA Upgrade Disc's RS6 C6,

Bells are just over 26cm.... over 60 minutes per bell CNC machine time, New custom made heavy duty bobbin kits with special fasteners.

Weight is 1.18 kg

Off for anodising now bobbin kits will be ready end of next week deliverys to commence early may

I'm intrested, will get Grizz to fit them. Just need a few months to recover from Stage two/Ring trip.

Couple of Q's any "guide" as to the improvement on braking efficiency / feel / performance ?? While I realise there is no "its 10% better" figure that can be quoted can you give us an idea of what they'd be like on road and track ?

And do they chuck less brake dust onto the rims :biggrin3:

they will simply be head and shoulders better in performance that is certain road or track, the OEM are not even handed so have no Axial vents and have a small air gap so are heavy, the AP rotors we are using have 72 axial vents so there for will run cooler when pushed also much bigger air gaps making the venting vanes making a massive loss of rotating mass this will improve handling by a very good degree

as for brake dust thats mainly down to pad choice

How much are these bells and bobbin kits with special fasteners?

I assume you can just bolt up R35 GT-R AP discs to these bells?
