TPMS decided to stop working.

Post by Spindle » Wed Aug 06, 2025 1:35 pm

As per title the TPMS decided to stop working, just randomly near the end of a three hour drive the warning pinged up on the dash and it has not been able to connect to the sensors again bar one 10 min period where we didn't have the dash screaming at us on start up.

I have tried re-learning them on the mmi with no joy.

Is there a wheel change procedure I can try?

Fault code is not very helpful:

01521 - Sensor for Tire Pressure

It can not read anything from any of the four sensors yet using a tyre pressure sensor scan tool on each wheel it shows me the code, pressure, temperature and says 'RS6' etc on each individual sensor which leads me to think it is the module or the antenna maybe?

Any help is appreciated as it is starting to get on my nerves now as I also have an elusive EVAP fault I can not get to the bottom of (see my other post for that little joy).

Suggestions on what to try or how to force a re-learn are welcome. I have VCDS so can use that to do anything needed.

Help please :notworthy:
