RS6 Avant Or Saloon C6

Hi All,

I’ve just joined today, looking to buy a C6 RS6 but not sure which is better, Avant or Saloon? Don’t have any luggage or kids requirements it’s just to be used as a daily for a while.

Route to work is a mix of Motorway, A and B roads and about 200 miles round trip.

Has anyone owned both? Or is there a thread about this that someone can point me to please?

Saloons are more rare and have a tendency to be more expensive or fetch more money later on.
Other than the avant/boot differences they are otherwise the same cars

Outside of visual appeal, I don't believe that there is any noticeable difference in performance, handling etc between the two types. Outside of that the advice above is spot on.

Wow! That's some commitment there fella. 1000 miles a week in a TT V10!?
I (sometimes) grumble to myself about using my C5 as a daily & I only do a 35 mile round trip....hats off to you sir

I quite enjoy it as I get time to get so much work related stuff sorted before I get in. My e61 M5 needs a rest now so thought I’d try an Audi…..have opted for the saloon wish me luck. Will post details soon as possible.
