Hi chaps, seem to have an issue today where my car just dropped in power. It will still rise to 7k revs but not as much oooooomph. before it would push you in your seat but now its a steady rise. no errors on the dash either. feels like its gone from 700 to 500hp. its stg2 with gearbox remap.
Anyone had the same issue?
Also anyone in the UK that does Gearbox upgrades?

After some reading it sounds like either bov's or the N249 valve. Ill read the errors this afternoon and have a better idea

Or check your boost hoses haven't come loose! This is by far the easiest option for you to check yourself. Jack the car up, put it on axle stands, take the lower engine tray off and check both intercooler to turbo pipes are fully on.
This doesn't sound like a gearbox issue to me at all. N249 valve can fail and does reduce boost, especially if it is causing the BOVs to stick open. Likewise with stage 2 the oem bovs can also fail. N249 valve is hard to get as they're on back order, I had to get mine from Slovakia,
www.oemvwshop.com . It could also be the N75 valves but less likely. My first bet would be the boost hoses.
