Very low mileage RS6 Plus

During my endless search for replacement cars I came across this one:

https://www.premiercarcentreltd.co.uk/u ... 1102318201

Not featured on Auto Trader or anywhere else from what I could see-was looking at the MRC tuned Daytona they had and stumbled across it. Those miles are insanely low! Was it locked in a private collection all these years?!
One thing though-that price. That’s C7 territory and I think they’re pushing it a bit asking for that much.

Nice to always find a low miles car but two things count against it - 1. It’s a saloon more kudos with the avant and 2. at that price you want to see ceramics surely.

I reckon better to look for a well looked after avant with average miles they are out there just depends if you can wait it out.

At that price point I wouldn’t be looking to spend that (plus I had a loon last time)-the silver RS6 Plus I posted is a possible contender. No ceramics which is a shame but everything else plus £10k worth of tuning and exhaust is a nice Brucie Bonus.
Bizarre how low those miles are though. Must’ve been part of a collection as it has been nowhere and barely over running in miles.

given the miles, how come those seats look as warn as that? sure that colour won't help, but i'd not have expected them to look that tired?

Well, that's a very distinctive spec. Cream seats over blue, on a plus with bucket seats, sunroof and Radar cruise.....

So I checked. I saw that car, number 038 in a garage in Birmingham in December 2014. Mileage on my photos was 73528, and was advertised as such at the time.

Very, very tidy looking car. Awesome spec. But, its either the mother of all typos, a cheeky salesman trying to draw interest, or worst case its intentionally been clocked.....

Reg on it at the time was FT10 YWM, but thats not showing up now so I guess its on a private plate at the mo.....

^^^ .....and THAT is why this forum is so good! Had a feeling this car would be on the radar somewhere. The plot thickens!

Additionally, I believe the VIN of all the plus's is xxx123 where 123 is the badge number and x was 999.

So this car's vin should end 999038 i believe. (Happy for another C6 + owner to prove / disprove me)

If I was going to clock or ring an RS, which is rare enough to start with, then picking something this distinctive is about as dumb as you get surely....

Plus if it’s come from the ‘Axis Of Car Crime’ (Birmingham area) then that also is a warning sign. Any car from Brum or surroundings is a total deal breaker for me. It’s also full of charmers-when I sold both my C6 & C7 I had half of Brum phone up (Audi RS’ are very popular with a certain population demographic it seems) and try and haggle the most ridiculous prices. When they got told ‘no thank’ some of them changed tack and started yelling abuse at me.
Bizarre.

Was he like the fellah in the grey suit, here? He had an interesting career before this sales job ('apprentice').

Very impressed with detective work.
