Daft question perhaps. But do aftermarket 20" wheels lool too small on an RS6?

It's not necessarily aftermarket that look small it's perhaps the design and colour combo, black alloys will blend into the tyre, dark grey kind of get lost but not as much as black
Wether the spoke goes right to the lip of the wheel can make a 20" look bigger or if the spokes drop down before the lip they look small.
I get comments about mine looking small but I didn't want to go to 21"s due to bad roads locally

Yeah I know that. To be honest my main reason for sticking to 20s was I have 4 almost new tyres and it seems a waste to replace them and the choice of wheels in 21 inch is a lot less unless you want to spend several grand. I'd like to see some aftermarket wheels with sizes on a C6. Wierdly 20s look fine on a normal A6.

Vossens are only set that look the part... costly to say the least but well worth the money if that’s your thing.
Otherwise lowering with HR spring kit is an option and you’ll get the looks (with OEM wheels).

I saw a set of wheels I liked but cheap so no doubt I'll be shot down in flames. Inovit Vector wheels. A few other similar sets too. I'll try add a pic

For 20 X 10 your ideal ET will be around 30-33, I think 42 will sit too far in the arch and possibly clip the strut
That's a set of 20x10 et32 with 275/35/20 Michelin, for whatever reason the tyres look bigger than the OEM tyres, but the wheels do look a little small, I'm happy with them though

I'd need to run a spacer or order a different et. I've seen et28 available which should sit nicely

Yes 28 would sit well, there's still a bit of room for mine to come out. I'd personally rather order the correct fitment than run spacers on any car nevermind one this heavy/performance oriented. Hopefully you find what you're after!

They look very similar to some of the wheels I'm looking at. How much is your car lowered?

im using Japan Racing wheels as my summer set. They seem to look larger than some other 20" wheels.
Silver makes them pop, and that design the spokes meet the tyre were if you look at mine the lip which meets the tyre and the end of the spoke are a few mm apart giving the illusion they're smaller
They do look good on yours! How do you rate the Ultrac Vorti? I'm a huge fan of Vreds myself but wanted to see what Mich's were like

I find them a great tyre, people have said there not the best in the wet but to be honest I don't drive the car at the limit in the wet. In the dry they are great and a very nice looking tyre. What also makes the wheels look larger is I'm using a 30 profile tyre.
