Battery coding

Hi guys a bit of a long shot but could someone post up the battery coding they have for an aftermarket battery. Mine seems to be coded wrong and it causing me all sorts of issues ! And I don't have the original coding to put it back to standard

I'm about to replace the battery on mine and would appreciate some guidance - what AmpH, make/model and so on?

[61 - Battery Regulation]
[Coding - 07]
Use the pull down menu to select the battery (slave) listed as #1.
[Battery Coding]
Enter the new Battery Part Number (10 or 11 digits).
Enter the new Battery Serial Number (10 digits).
Select the new Battery Vendor.
[OK]
[Do it!]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
Your new Battery should now be coded and the Battery Control Module should be aware of the new Battery.
In respect of original;
Judging from its labeling I believe mines still got its original battery which although I do get 2 of the 6 quiescent current faults up its still a strong battery and gives me no issues even in the recent bad winter. At ten years of age that's quite impressive.

Thread resurrection.
My batteries time is up. Nearly 11 years old so I cant complain. Looking to get one tomorrow anybody bought one recently stealers or third party? If so whose make and price. Varta one is fitted 110Ahr.

Early cars had batt regulator module, later ones this is done in the CAN module

Probably a bit late now, but I replaced my battery with a Bosch S5 model which is like for like (110Ah) with the original Varta one that the car has had since leaving the factory. If I remember correctly it was £130 from Eurocarparts with the 50% discount applied last Christmas . Here is the link to the one that I bought;

TPS quoted me I think £150 + VAT for an OE Varta one, which I would have preferred, however since the Bosch one had a five year warranty it tipped the balance for me. I prefer to keep everything OEM but the warranty was also important, especially as I hear a lot of people moaning about modern car batteries.
Regarding coding it, I didn't bother. Since it has exactly the same specifications as the original one I think that it would have been a pointless exercise. That and it has a trickle charger connected to it every night. I kept my old one as it had nothing wrong with it and has helped me once already start my other car after I had been opening and shutting doors, windows, sunroof and also having the radio on all day whilst cleaning it.

Thanks for the info. You are right it was a tad late but great minds must think alike... i went with the Bosch S5 150. Mainly as I couldnt get a Varta. I refuse to use stealers and my local TPS doesnt sell to Joe Public anymore
Cost me 176 from euro. Clearly a smaller discount voucher than yours

No problem! Yeah you won't go wrong with that! I had to go to the stealers once to buy something and never again! That's a shame that your local TPS won't sell to the public. They must have been ripped off by people before and once again the few ruin it for everyone else. I know that when my uncle had to order service parts at his local TPS during the summer last year, they said he had to pay before they would order it. Granted it was his first time dealing with them so that may have been why. Perhaps you could open an account? I don't know whether you need to have a business for that and a VAT number, etc. though.
Yeah, it was 50% off before last Christmas so I thought I might as well just get a new battery then.

Yes changing your serial number by 1 digit increment changes your battery coding by 1 digit increment. Keep it simple
