Some rust found, rear cross beam

Gents,

Just had the yearly check.

Noticed this myself. The guy performing the check (government) had no comments.

Anyone knows if this is common? Nothing to worry about? Fix urgently? Fix whenever?

I'd suspect it's common, caused by moisture pooling at the vent holes and then corrosion working under the factory coating. I doubt that it's anything to worry about - if you're bothered about it clean it up and recoat it. It'd be way down on my list of jobs though.

I would do this:
Option 1:
1. Steelbrush the area.
2. Apply Bilt-Hamber Hydrate 80 coating on rust area.
3. Apply Fluid-film or similar product.

Option 2:
Apply Fluid-film or similar product.
