Posted on here before about getting all the chrome trim blacked out and alloys powder coated titanium. Went with Herts Tints in St Albans who did a fantastic job. £770.00 all in (alloys were £300). Here are some comparison pics before and after to help those deciding whether it's worthwhile doing. I reckon it transforms the look of the car and its more quietly aggressive now (which is the whole point of the RS6!)

Really does transform the car and gets more attention now which is a good and a bad thing...
The chrome work is a wrap so can be returned to original in the future, I certainly will be keeping it that way til it's time to move on. As ever the 'to do' list continues with brake mods on the horizon next followed by the MRC trip!

The guys at Herts Tints recommended getting my rear lights smoked which am seriously considering-had them on my M135i and looked great.

I think you should dye them as oppose to tint, I had my last cars ones dyed and they looked soooo much better than the old tint spray.

The more dye they use the darker they will go, this was one coat and it looked the the C7 deeper sort of red. If you want to see what them lights looked like before just look for a google image.

Thanks for the tip-335i nice ride! This is my first Audi after 18 years with BMW...the grip from Quattro continues to impress me. My last car was a tuned M135i running 420lb ft torque (as opposed to 335 stock) and it was constantly scrabbling for grip. My smoked rear lenses were M Performance ones and looked great. Will definitely look at the dye option cheers

It was a mapped 335d, immense, it had bridge stones when I bought it but would not grip and even had TC in 4th gear so swapped to p zero Nero And changed it, never struggled for grip at all.

If you need them dyed then let me know and il get you in contact with the guys that do it.

I had the MPSS on the M135i and now have them on the RS-soooo much better than the Pirelli P zeros that came with the car. Cheers for the contact may well take you up on that mate
