Sorry if this has been discussed before (I have tried a few searches and cannot see anything though) but I've never seen this before?

Can anyone explain?

but more likely just an LED change, which I'm guessing would be a lot of work, involving stripping all the trim/switches etc.

Almost definitely as stated above a very laborious dismantlement of the dash and center console and replacement of the bulbs to blue or even putting a blue filament behind the illuminated parts which would be much easier.

or on another pane altogether.. Photoshop to confuse others.

And end up with creaky interior trim.

personally i think it looks tacky... i much prefer the orange/red it much easier on the eyes at night.

That's an RS6 plus (with an Audi Exclusive interior)- that have anything to do with it?

Doubt it, I believe the last owner was an electrician as when it was advertised Privately a while back, there was an electrician van parked on the same driveway. So more than likely - a DIY job.

Creaking dash and console?....check.
Faulty, flickering after market LEDs?....check.
