Previous title:G8 LDY - Black RS6 Avant - anyone we know?
It's one of the cars I've shortlisted to see - Black C6 RS6 Avant.
Anyone we know? I'd ideally like to get in touch with the previous owner before committing.

Think once the car goes to trade...the warranty is not valid anymore..been caught out myself with that,so would check with the dealer first

Thanks Shindy - wil check the Audi Warranty small print and see if anything is obvious there.

And to confirm your suspicions, sections 2.7 of the policy booklet does imply that warranty cover needs to be passed from one owner directly to the next:

Without the previous owner signing the paperwork and paying the £20 fee, the warranty is effectively cancelled at the point it's transferred to a trade seller.

Ended up buying direct from the previous owner (just using the trader as a intermediary) - so managed to keep the existing warranty going
Very happy so far

I'm sorry it wasn't yours. Combination of a low mileage car, with a sunroof, with a black interior, close to me... Although I'll still take the brakes off you for a premium and swap you with mine if you want
