0-60 and 0-100mph times

Post by wrekka » Fri Dec 26, 2014 11:06 pm

Done a few runs of 0-60mph and 0-100mph using the built in timer.

Been averaging about 3.7 to 60mph and 6.8 to 100mph. Car is obviously tuned. Do these seem inline with what others are getting?
cheers

1000+Nm makes weight less of a problem.

I'm doing 3.9 so yours seem somewhere in the ballpark (820Nm on mine "only").

Mine was tuned by MRC in early 2012. Made 702ps and 860nm. I did 20+ runs on the v-box at v-max and the best I got was 3.9 0-60 and 7.8 0-100.

The latest MRC tuned cars should improve on that slightly I would have thought

Hi wrekka, :bigwave:

I would suggest a run on a quarter mile drag strip would give you an accurate time for 0-100mph and quarter mile.

I am running about 750 bhp and 1000NM in my C6 RS6 and best I managed on street tyres(MPSS) for my APR stage 1 tuned, 104 octane, standard OEM tcu, C6 RS6 was a 11.43 sec quarter time and 0-100mph of 7.41 secs :)

Based on a recent drag strip run of my Lamborghini Gallardo TT with its Audi V10 5.2L engine, with 6psi boost, VPower 98, it ran a 0-100mph of 6.85 secs and quarter mile time of 10.86 secs. This car is some 500kgs lighter than a RS6 and with 'street tune' shows on the dyno 850bhp/670 whp.

So by comparison that would suggest a 0-100mph of 6.8 secs should get you into the high tens for the quarter mile and with engine power considerably in excess of 800bhp.

You have a very stout tune on your RS6, but I would not expect anything else from MRC    .

Just my two cents worth.
cheers,
john

Thought it seemed a bit too quick. The timer must not be accurate

Well checked timer against my stop watch and it us working correctly. Must be slight speedo error. 100mph on speedo is prob more like 96mph real speed.
