MMI replaced/upgraded DRC lost!!

Hey guys,

So, my Bluetooth menu was grayed out and was not connecting to iphone (2010 plus).
Went to Audi, they said the the mmi interface was not reading the dvd to upload, and it will get worst in time (loose other mmi functions).
Two solutions:
Buy a new interface from audi (€7000)
Or replace the socket (do not know the technical term) which is faulty and upgrade the program for a third of the price at an independent service recommended by audi.

Surely I have chosen the second option.

Now, bluetooth is working but DRC under CAR menu is lost, and some other functions seems to be not working (changing the ambient light does nothing).

I'll be back on monday, but just wanted to hear your thoughts.
Is is possible that they have changed the faulty part with another (from a car that has no DRC) and so mine is disappeared, or is it something that you can install separately and its not a big problem..

It will be the coding that's been lost on it, it needs to be adapted so you can access these functions.

They enabled it from the green menu in mmi, than updated the software to 29, all is fine now.
