Hi all,

Any advice on the best way to fix or replace my START button? I haven't had the car for long so the previous owner must be very heavy fingered!

Cheers

The base part number is 4F2905217

A quick search on eBay found this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDI-ENGINE-STA ... 5654d127ca

Might be able to swap out just the start button part

Probably someone trying to start it when they left the key in the house and got a bit frustrated;)

+1 Take the opportunity to replace for a 2010 version as they are much nicer IMHO. About £40 from your local stealer if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the replies folks.

I have taken advice from all. I will be replacing with the original one ...then ... thinking about reaplcign the whole car with a 2010 model and get the nicer new START button ;-)
