I couldn't believe my insurance premium @ 1200. I have max NCB, clean licence, over 40, park on drive with Tracker Horizon. I did however declared the mods ( wheels, ECU and exhaust). Bought from Churchhill... everyone else were more expensive including Admiral, Adrian Flux and Hastings. Adrian Flux had a stupidly high compulsary excess of... wait for it.... £3000 ( Crazy ).
My replaced car which was a Audi S6 only cost me 400.
NVM, the RS6 cost a lot more so maybe that's why I guessed.

Premiums coming down might be to do with new EU law specifying women's and men's premiums must be the same, ie women's must not be cheaper.
Though supposedly this is meant to manifest itself in women's premiums rising rather than men's dropping.

I've found this, my insurance has gone down as a result of this (v.slightly) but the GF's has increased quite dramatically... seems men do win a little, but women loose out hugely and as a result the insurance companies are still the winners overall

The wife wants to sell 'her' RS6 for something more suited to the school run each day. Me, on the other hand would like to take it for a bit of tweaking for my weekend enjoyment.
Did have it listed on PH - but I wasn't too bothered to be quite honest - the boss, on the other hand, wants to re-list again in order to get a nice sensible A4 oil burner or another Freelander. Probably 'compromise' with an S4......
Just came back from Plymouth to Sussex on New Year's Day - early o'clock start - very, very nice run. Vroom.

Roy... lol...You have a point but sorry to say that I'm slightly older than you, with clean licence and max NCB so WTF has gone wrong here....
Even without declaring the mods ( Map,exhaust and wheels) its still over 700 notes. I must had got ripped but I've quoted everywhere and everyone.

Where do you all live FFS - in outer mongolia????
Try living in london....
1800 notes for my C6 all mods declared (8,000 miles and £1,500 complusory excess). Not only that it's the wife's policy, clean licence for 20 years Max NCB - one non-fault claim in last 5 years with me named driver on the policy (again licence held for 20 years but with 3 points) - go figure. And that quote was half the price of anyone else who dared quote
