Hello Andy, the lads that wrapped my mirrors and trim (Dub Customs) did the plate for me. I will give them a call to find out how they fixed it and what size the font is.

Looks nice mate. Does look good with the small plate unfortunately not legal I fear!!!! I got stopped last week and told my plates were illegal . Mine are pressed metal but still the correct size correct font correct spacing white front yellow rear just not the correct plastic with the standard marking in the bottom corner according to the chap wearing a white hat

If they are full size with the correct spacing and font, it sounds like you caught the copper on a bad day.

Was it because they failed on "The plate must be MADE OF retroreflecting material" ?

Not really sure why folk meddle with their plates. Law is pretty clear, why bother giving the cops cause to stop you?

Could have been as was in Sussex visiting family and did drive to Brighton mid morning and then headed back along the seafront towards Shoreham early afternoon.

I have been lurking on here long enough, so thought it was about time I finally introduced my car. Had it a few months now and being enjoying it along the way.

Made a few concessions when buying, so it is pretty much standard all the way with just the TV (which almost everyone has) and sunroof as extras. Went with this one because of the colour (most my cars have been black) and the Alcantara headlining. Only modification I have made is on the colour of the alloys, mainly because of the amount of dust the steelies throw out meant they always looked filthy in standard silver.

Would ideally like to have a stage 2 done, but have an Audi warranty on it and like the protection after once having a Vanos fail on me in my old M5...
