Mines lowered as far as it will go on KW Adjustable platforms, i'd like it a bit lower if im honest but its rubbing already so would need narrower tyres and coilovers/Air. However i wanted to retain the DRC with mine being a lower miler and just so i can switch comfort to much firmer if i want to push it. I'd go of the KW's again but with a slightly shorter spring or leave out the helper springs.

These are hard to get low, theres over 150mm ground clearance at a guess. The wheel size is also an issue, I considered ordering a 275/30 rather than 275/35
I totally get wanting to keep the drc and id love to also, I just know what I'm like and would always want it lower, but
I will keep everything I replace so it can go back to factory for when I sell it.
I ve already ordered 30 profile tyres

Jules, I know you will be changing your wheels, but when you come to sell it youll probably want to keep the new wheels so maybe when you sell all you need to do is give the originals a bit of colour as they look good here with a lowered car.
Totally agree mate, these wheels do look good when lowered and good to see you Saturday

Collected the car Saturday morning from MRC and damn I'm pretty shocked how much I love the car and the pure power
these things have.

The car was owned buy a really great guy who had seriously looked after it mechanically but it was just his family car
with children and of course we all have different priorities.
Inside you could tell it was just a daily with kids where as for me it will be a weekend toy. I spent all of Saturday cleaning it
inside and am so pleased how well it has come up and really happy with the piano black finish inside.
A few leather dents heated out,all crap from the creases and coke out of carpets and now it feels like its my car.

I've also ordered the c7 gearknob and removed the front number plate plinth.

Yeah I hate I when the previous owner leaves all their Class A's all over the floor!

It was good too see you again on Saturday, its a lovely car but needs some Jules magic. Plenty of potential. I think once you've lowered it, sorted the wheels and black optics it will make a huge difference. And that interior has come up good!

Does anyone have a part number for the replacement volume control surround as mine is peeling badly?

I did try a search but didn't have any luck.

Cheers mate

I'll get you the part number once mines ordered but you need to check because I think they can be different
between what spec the car has.
I have a spare r8 wheel I was going to take it from but the button part has voice control but on mine its
different which I assume is because it has the home garage door and gates thing. Sorry no idea what they
call this option

This number is from Etka for a replacement switch for around £50 (ebay) to £170 (Audi) as I don't think you can get just the "surround" -

4E0951527AJ - Black and Chrome (should be this one for flat bottomed RS6)
