They are quite widely available on the internet.

If anyone wants the MMI update CDs I can post copies. I might also be able to throw in the latest Nav map DVD too :bigblink:

The update is relatively simple, you just have to be able to navigate through the MMI menus. No technical knowledge required. You just insert the disks and tell it to update.

The maps DVD is even easier; eject the old one from the boot, put the new one in!

I have even offered the discs to anyone who wants them. Those ebay sellers gonna hate me!!

Yes, the 3D map view is great. But I think it is only if you have MMI High rather than MMI Poverty spec.

I've just bought the 2015 maps and latest software update for my 3G MMI. Was around £33 for the maps and then once I'd sent the seller my MMI SW version info, I needed to to fork out another £20 on an additional software to bring the MMI up to date. I'm only updating out of boredom, I've been all over Europe with the 2009 maps and not had a problem - just the occasional Shell petrol station I've traveled to for VBastard, and it had since changed to a Total.

I'll post back if/what differences above the maps it makes. Seller has been extremely helpful so far.

All updated and working correctly, you can't go wrong if you follow the seller's instructions. No difference or fancier interface, maps look the same, but now recognise newly built roads. I've lost the RS 6 logo that comes up when starting, replaced with a generic Audi one. :(

No songs lost from Jukebox, I hope VIM still works!

Took just over 7 hours in total, although I did go off and do other things inbetween.

Wonder if anyone knows how to fix the RS6 logo issue? Has anyone else had this problem? I was planning on doing this update but i'd be gutted to lose the logo. Might just buy the new maps disc.

That’s an easy fix if you have the secret menu enabled, you can just google “RS6 logo 3g mmi” something like that will bring up how you do it in the secret menu, you can also do it on VCDS.
7hrs is a long time… did you leave it overnight?
