I will call AXA tomo, thanks for the heads up. They say they dont cover Mods, is that right?
I stated that car had engine chip upgrade, and it's all been accepted. They seem more obsessed with the tracker.

I was with admiral last year living in London I'm 42, 11 years NCB (protected) £1400. Declared the modded exhaust (£14) added the dorris she's 28 (£200) come renewal time and with one cu80 (being on the phone) admiral want £3400, ended up going with quote me happy £2400 depending on configuration emailed them proof of my NCB they said they never received it, insurance runs out in 2 hours brilliant...

Last time I paid that much for insurance I had just rolled a 1.9 gti and had a golf rallye (it was <beep>).

It's a joke, see go compare options below...

One of the quotes on your list is over 10 grand :bash: Thought Ireland was bad for prices. I'm paying €590 fully comp, 38 and the boss is 36 both with FNCB. Having said that English road tax is a lot lower this year paid €2350 next year it will hit €2500 :boohoo:

I feel for you fella, that's outrageous. Look on the bright side however, you're 42, with a 28 yr old seat cover and an RS6. Life can't be that bad ! :beerchug:

Try some specialists, The Flux, some of the Lambo insurers where you deal directly with the underwriters, etc..

Mine came in now. £1257 with admiral.

I have changed a few bits around, didnt realise that putting my GF who lives with me as common law bought it down, changed the milage to 4k per year as getting a Cooper SD this month for the mrs so this car wont be used as much as it has been the last year.

i have given up with everyone saying they cant quote me so i will be taking it. Good thing road tax aint due at the same time either.

all 4 Tyres are tho :(
