Would DRC do that?? I'm not au fait with the full workings of DRC but my understanding was it was a damping adjustment, and typically ride height is determined by the spring length and rate.

When she was in getting detailed the car was on jacks and all 4 wheels were off the ground for 4 days, had the car away all weekend loaded with camping gear and it does seem better now, will get it on some flat ground tomorrow, cheers for the diagram

Wonder if the car had been moved after being let down off the jacks? If not the suspension would have been wonky as the tyres will have gripped against the floor.

I still don't understand how DRC would cause the ride height to change when it's a dynamic damping system? Anyone any good docs about DRC. I've done some Google searching to try and uncover information about the system but can't find any comprehensive info.

Not sure about that but when we took it outside thats when i noticed how high she was sitting, we did comment you could probably lie down and it could drive right over you;)

Which obviously is not a good thing, i took car to star performance up here in fife for a check over when i first bought it, and they found nothing wrong, just need to know or see the gap between wheel and arch on others rs6's can anyone help

No worries.

Lovely looking 6+ there... black is the best colour IMHO.
The wheel/arch gap do look a bit too much yet from so angles, it looks ok. It may need a bit more time for all fours to settle after being raised for so long.
Check all four shocks to see if the DRC are leaking and if they're not, 9/10 they should be fine and get on a level surface to measure up. Failing that, get Audi to check the DRC.

I highly recommend fitting the MTM or KW springs with adjustable height which will transform the handling and the looks.

Golf is right guys, fecked drc could do that to the car. I was just asking the question about the jacks as it would do the same till it was moved. I guess you all know about the issues with the C5 and drc, if any work has been done on the car and they haven't gassed it up correctly it can make the rear high.

Got my car back from the detailers today and what a job hes done

Hi Fifeaudi,

Great looking car and detail job. Love the titan seven spoke rims.

As per Amar's beast and mine, matte black wrap on the ally window and door handle trim and gloss black wrap on front grille surround and rear boot ally strip trim would IMHO complete a magnificent car.

If you didn't like the 'look' , you can peel off the wrap. My wifey not keen on the 'gangsta' look, but that is just her opinion.

Well john the trim was actually wrap before i bought it, but because the dealer wanted it back to oem they removed, im gutted lol
But yes its on my list,
