Hi All,

Great thread & thanks for all the effort put into it :D

I'm currently in the process of looking for a C6 (either tuned or to be tuned). I didn't realise there was a 2G & 3G difference in consoles & screen resolution (very helpful thanks) but from the above pics I can't see any changes other than the 'push start/stop' looks different on the 2G compaired to some I've seen???

Cheers
Ian

Visually the little joystick is pretty much the first way to tell them apart.

Console differences for a 3G car include:
- Updated chrome start stop button for cars with keyless.
- Chrome tipped parking brake switch
- Moveable joystick on top of MMI control knob

to add to golfather's post are, the buttons surround the screen on the 3g are different also, the 2g cars are flat where as the 3g cars the buttons stick out slightly.

Brilliant guys, thank you very much :D

If I can't find a pre-tuned one to my spec who would you recommend.......

MRC
QS - I found Kim to be very helpful when we spoke a few weeks ago
any others?

Looking for Milltek system and 730+hp

Also whilst I remember, Carbon disc's do they eat through pads and are the pads a lot more expensive than std?

Cheers :blackrs4:

IMO.....MRC stage 2 + Gearbox map all day long with exhaust and air filters.

Ceramic brakes are very expensive... you need discs, calipers, splash guards, fitting kit and pads upfront and discs and pads for the rear ( steel rear calipers are the same as ceramic ones just different colour) Ceramic discs and pads last much longer than steel version... front ceramic pads just shy of £400 and rears just under £300 per set. You should be more worried in buying the ceramic discs and front calipers than to worry about the cost of pads... :bigblink:
Too much power is barely enough.

Sorry maybe I wasn't too clear, I've seen some for sale already with ceramics so I was wondering about pad/disc life and replecement costs.

Ceramics should be for life, but they aren't always.

They are 5 figures to change, pads and discs.
