With the mileage to be had from the ceramics, it's cheap compared to the steels... :biggrin3:

The Mrs drove the 6 for the 1st time last week even though it was snail's pace, she nearly smack her head on the wind screen when she braked... She said, I want that braking power on mine....she also got the big thumbs up from on lookers and drivers at the traffic light which was so funny... lol

You need a very good realtionship with a local dealer or to have spent a lot of money/repeat business with them, then it's not too hard. Mine were factory fitted, you'd struggle with the retrofitted ones! Went off my chassis number.

tyres were changed today, the Dunlop sport maxx's made way for Pirelli pzeros, what a difference, especially traction in 1st and 2nd, now there is much less slip, also give much more feedback than the dunlops ever did.

if your running dunlops I strongly suggest switching to Pirelli's!

A got my tyres from K1 in Stratford (classba's mates) and I must say they were extra careful with the ceramics, put the weights where you couldn't see them and cleaned all the gunk off them. highly recommended, not to mention the price!

the trip back there was a heart in mouth moment when I thought id been caught by PC plod doing a XXX on the motorway luckily the grey saloon was lost amongst the other cars and I was ignored....phew

Regrettably its up for sale.

will do a full add later today, but in summary.

will add up to date pictures too.

It with a heavy heart that I put the C6 up for sale, I wanted to keep this for a long time but a real chance to buy a low mile BMW CSL at mates rates and the requirement for an estate means the loon has to go.

Any questions just ask, and you can see the level of detail that I have gone into on the car in my thread

High level spec;

-'59 plate Daytona Saloon
- 34,400 miles
-Full Audi service history and audi extended warranty until August
- 4 nearly new Pirelli pzeros
-Black optics - wrapped but you couldn't tell that
- Retrofitted OEM Ceramics (18 km on them) and I have done around 500 miles on them , with HEL braided lines and ATE fluid
-Black Leather interior
- TV
-Soft close doors
- sunroof
Performance upgrades
-Originally mtm 730 bhp car with miltek quad tip exhaust
- MRC stage 2 remap and pre-cat delete resulting in 750PS and 1055NM torque
- MRC Gearbox map

Im looking for around 36k, otherwise I will swap out the ceramics and px the car.

Any questions please PM me

Sad day it must be. I've seen Andy's car so I can vouch for it being a great car especially now that it has the full ceramics. It is a great price for what it is IMO. GLWS and I'm sure it will fly out the door in no time.

On the plus side, Andy won't have more to say about his loon being the faster shape anymore lol. :biggrin3:

+1, I too have seen it and it's a great car that's been well cared for by Andy. Shame it's the "slower" shape but other than that it's a steal :)
