All I have is the receipt although it does make reference to the tip number.

Just having n/s front bearing replaced as we speak as well as oil level sensor. God bless the extended audi warranty!

Had mine checked while in for an oil temp sensor and no faults found. 34000miles.

Had this problem with my 09 saloon. It recurred after less than 10k miles too, amongst other problems. I've now finally gotten rid of the saloon for an Avant and I must say the noise isn't as loud but it's still present. Count me in on any action requiring further feedback

All should be its TPI 2112542/11 that needs to be quoted

Parts changed are

However its easy to check yourself .. windows down .. drive slowly forward and turn to full lock, its easy to hear the click .. I first heard mine coming down a ramp at a multi Story car park

You'll not hear it normal driving with windows up etc

Slow speed full steering lock turns?

Multi story car parks etc etc

Sounds like a metallic ticking noise?

Nothing like the usual grind of a knackered wheel bearing.
