Intersting, I imagine fuelling/spark is done from the one in the manifold. Are the other two just so that if one turbo goes, the ECU knows which one?

The ECU uses the N75 & N271 valves to set the boost demand level on each turbo and then the G31/G447 sensors send feedback to the ECU of the actual boost level being achieved from each turbo, ensuring a balanced output from both whilst the G71 primarily allows the ECU to deal with fuelling (rather than spark).
